Pathology Department

Pathology is the study of disease, particularly structural abnormalities caused by disease. The term pathology can refer to both the study of disease and the characteristics of a disease (for example, "the pathology of cancer").

Grace Medical Centre's Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine provides comprehensive diagnostic testing services with timely reporting to assist in-house and external physicians. Inpatient, outpatient, and outreach services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for patients of all ages.

 Pathology is divided into three broad categories:

• Anatomical pathology.
• Clinical pathology.
• Molecular pathology.
